Hope Housing are delighted to be putting on a screening of THAT’S THE WAY IT IS, the 1970 documentary film showcasing Elvis Presley’s Summer Festival in Las Vegas during August 1970, at Wimborne’s Allendale Community Centre on the evening of Friday 16th September. Accompanying the showing will be well-known Elvis tribute artist Darren H. Presley who will be opening and closing the event with a variety of The King’s greatest hits and a raffle with some GREAT prizes! All proceeds go towards Hope Housing, Training and Support, a Bournemouth-based charity offering supported housing and individual support to vulnerable and homeless people in Bournemouth and Poole. At Hope we support our clients, who have been affected by homelessness, to rebuild their lives. We equip them with the skills and knowledge to overcome their past issues. We aim to empower them to live a healthy lifestyle and step forward into independent living and employment. We know that by helping them to do this, not only will their quality of life improve, but it will have far reaching benefits for many others.
