Introducing The Jurassic Express Half Marathon starting from Swanage. This is not just an amazing Jurassic Coast Trail run but an experience you will remember for years. You will set off from the seaside town of Swanage, run epic trails with stunning coastal and castle vistas. Finishing at Corfe with it historic ancient Castle ruins, before boarding a private steam train. Sit back, relax, soak up the views and reflect on the experience as you return to your car via the Swanage railway.
The route itself has 2 options a 1/2 Marathon (22k) and a 16k option. Both routes are loaded with epic trails, awe-inspiring views of the Jurassic Coast including Old Harry Rocks, Studland and Corfe Castle. The chalk and sandy trails are hard packed and lend themselves to a enjoyable trail running experience.
