Funhouse Comedy Club launches the new season with another great line-up of comedians, at the Grainstore Brewery, Oakham on Thursday January 26th.
Topping the bill is the incredibly likeable, hilarious, warm and unique Emmanuel Sonubi, who has appeared on ‘Live at The Apollo’. An ex-bouncer, he has many personal tales about playing pranks with his kids and his awful parenting skills.
Opening the night will be winner of ‘Dave’s Best Joke of The Fringe’ in Edinburgh 2017, the congenial and unassuming Mark Simmons has appeared on ‘Mock The Week’ and has supported Seann Walsh and Rob Beckett on tour. With his clever one-liners, amusingly intelligent material and warm disposition he keeps the crowd hanging on to every word.
Also appearing is Peter Buckley Hill with his musical comedy and clever wordplay.
Compere for the night will be James Cook with his sharp tongue and dry sense of humour he previously worked as a presenter on commercial radio stations, went on air with A-ha and presented Lenny Henry with his ‘Walk of Fame’.
