Rotary have organised this ever-popular, family friendly charity event for circa 30 years. The amazing firework display is designed and choreographed to music by previous British firework champions of champions, Star Fireworks. Attractions also include the locally based John Coneley’s Fun Fair, a variety of food, drinks and this year the under 12’s will be entertained free of charge by the renowned Southwest Punch and Judy entertainer John Harvey prior to the firework display. Advanced tickets adult £10 under 12yrs £5. Tickets on the gate adults £12 and under 12yrs £6. The gate takes credit/debit cards and cash. Display starts at 8pm.
All profits go to support local good causes and charities with at least half the profits directed towards young people in acknowledgement that the event originally started over 60 years ago at Ebley Children’s Home. This year’s event will support The Door Youth Project; Gloucestershire Young Carers; Maidenhill School; The Marah Trust; Nailsworth Youth Club; Nailsworth Rotary Community Fund; The Shrubberies School; Stroud District Food bank; Stroud Rotary Community Awards; Stroud Winter Response Programme and the Sunflower Suicide Support Group.
