Bach’s B Minor Mass has long been considered one of the greatest achievements of western cultural history, yet it was never performed in his lifetime. Completed only one year before his death, much of it includes movements based on earlier compositions. This monumental work is the culmination of everything that is best from one of the greatest composers of his time.
Basingstoke Choral Society will be joined by Croydon Philharmonic Choir to sing this wonderful work, a piece that is recognised as one of the greatest compositions in the choral repertoire.
Join us and listen to this amazing work, full of beautiful arias and wonderful choruses sung by almost two hundred singers, along with a professional orchestra and soloists.
